Chaeyoung Min

Chaeyoung Min is a Boston-based pianist active as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and orchestral keyboardist.

She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Boston University, where she studied with Pavel Nersessian. She received her Master of Music from New England Conservatory, studying with Haesun Paik and Alessio Bax, and her Bachelor of Music from the Korea National University of Arts, studying with Minsoo Sohn. Her training began at the Seoul Arts Center music academy for young prodigies and continued at Yewon Art School and Seoul Arts High School.

As a soloist, she won the Boston University Carnegie Hall Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2023. She was also a winner of the NEC Honors Competition and received the Grand Prize at the Young Soloist International Competition.

As a collaborative pianist, she has served as Collaborative Piano Fellow and Staff Accompanist at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and performs as principal keyboardist of FKCB Philharmonia. She has also appeared as keyboardist with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra and as a substitute keyboardist with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra. She has taught piano at Boston University and New England Conservatory.
